Can I go back to the factory settings?
Short answer
Yes for Stage 1 tunes, which keep the option to restore the stock software. For other modules, keep the device - it is used to change the setting again.
MWMods changes software settings, not hardware, so in principle the factory state can be restored.
- Stage 1 ECU tunes keep the option to restore the vehicle's stock firmware. This is useful before selling the car or visiting a dealer.
- Other modules, such as lowering, last mode or activation modules, are kept after installation so the setting can be changed again later.
